Room Updates at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Over the past couple of years, Disney has been slowly but surely renovated outdated rooms. Disney shares photos of Lion King Family Suite at Art of Animation Resort that show changes such as removing carpeting (great for keeping dust and allergens at bay), fresh paint, new fixtures and adding much needed storage space, it is no surprise that guests are enjoying these fresh new spaces.

There are 4 different themed accommodations at the Value Resort. Three of them are family suites, which sleep uo to 6 people, with 2 bathrooms, a mini kitchen and plenty of space to spread out. This Lion King Family Suite got some pretty fun upgrades. Take a look at the pop of colors on the walls. Truly gives you the feeling of being immersed into the Lion King movie.

If you look real close you will notice that the flooring is not carpeting, it is actually textured hardwood style floors. So much easier to keep clean. One of the 3 different sleeping areas is this sofa that pulls out into a double bed. Another great feature is the rather expansive mini kitchen, perfect for a family.

Storage a plenty here in a Family Suite. One of 2 televisions so that on those rainy days or when your settling in for the evening, no more fighting over what to watch. USB ports have been added to allow for more charging areas.

By day you have a table where you can enjoy a quick breakfast before heading to the parks. By night this turns down into a double bed for added sleeping accommodations without taking up extra space in your room.

If you are anythying like me, I enjoy some space for just my husband and myself, while the kids have their own sleeping and hang out spots. This is why we love staying in one of the Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This room features a queen bed, more storage for your belongings, another television and an en suite bathroom. Truly a benefit for larger families.
